Enchanted, if you have not seen it yet, please go for it!
Enchanted the latest Walt Disney production is jewel of delight!
Apart from its childish appearance it is a truly enjoyable and refreshing movie to watch. The actors are brilliant, the script well written and it is a moment the whole family can share together.
The set up is revised version of Cinderella, half cartoon, half movie, with all the ingredients that makes good Disney movies so wonderful. Animal characters, a beautiful soon to be princess, the handsome prince and the evil stepmother...
In regards to this version, at the end the heroine fall in love with someone else, the well known “grey anatomy” actor Patrick Dempsey, who is not bad after all. Amy Adams as Gisele is divine, Susan Sarandon again another stunning performance and James Marsden very funny!
The story is a modernised fairytale; it is the story of Gisele promised to the prince. She is sent to the real world (ours), in the middle of Manhattan by the evil queen, the stepmother (another one!) which doesn’t want the prince to marry as she will lose her throne if so.
Can a cartoon character survive outside its dimension? And if so, what changes will occur?
We all remember the stories we grew up with, who never wanted it to meet Snow White in the street? I did!
I promise you lots of smiles and many laughs!
